The Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga of January 17 publishes the announcement of the Municipal Housing Institute of the City of Malaga regarding the call for grants for the rehabilitation of buildings, aimed at subsidizing three lines: rehabilitation of the center. Partial action on buildings, rehabilitation of neighborhoods and special rehabilitation.
In the partial line of the historic center and the neighborhood, the subsidies may only go to residential buildings whose use is that of habitual and permanent residence. Without prejudice to the compatible uses established by the planning. Buildings intended for hotels, tourist accommodations, office rentals or other similar uses will not be subsidized under these lines.
The following actions are contemplated in the special rehabilitation line:
Rehabilitation, adaptation, repair, conservation and reconstruction actions on buildings that contribute to the revitalization of the historic center and neighborhoods.
Repair and conservation actions to be carried out outside the historic center, aimed at those residential buildings whose structural condition makes partial or special rehabilitation advisable.
Actions of rehabilitation, adaptation, repair, conservation and reconstruction on buildings, which contribute to revitalize both the historic center and outside it, consisting of improving the sound insulation of homes, located in areas where the Strategic Noise Map of Malaga, establishes that there is a total noise index equal to or greater than 65 decibels, as well as homes affected in the specific zonal plans of acoustically saturated areas.
Actions of rehabilitation, adaptation, repair, conservation and reconstruction on buildings, which contribute to revitalize both the historic center and outside it, consisting of improving the conservation, rehabilitation, reconstruction or adaptation of housing, whose owners undertake to use them for renting them for permanent and permanent housing that does not exceed 7.21 euros/m2 built and month of rent (reference price index of average residential rents in Malaga, according to the price map prepared by this Agency) and are intended for families registered in the Municipal Registry of Applicants for Housing in Malaga, which is managed by this Agency.
The deadline for submitting applications is forty-five (45) calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga.
